Apocalypse Gachapon Chapter 1953: You will be very busy
Previously on Apocalypse Gachapon...
Upon their return to the Star-Eye Clan, Wu Qian was utterly dumbfounded. For a brief instant, he even feared that this Order Leader might decide to eliminate him.
"Keep this under wraps, got it?" Ye Zhongming gazed at Wu Qian as they said their goodbyes.
Wu Qian nodded vigorously. How could he fail to grasp it? Even if he didn't initially, he had to now!
As Ye Zhongming's silhouette faded into the distance, Wu Qian sensed that he was struggling to adapt to the rapid changes. Was this truly the path to resurrecting the Star-Eye Clan?
Yet... it seemed far too astonishing, didn't it?
Once back in the Star-Eye Clan, Ye Zhongming secluded himself in his quarters for several hours before visiting the two clan leaders. Following an extended discussion, he emerged and promptly assembled the assault team, who had barely begun their downtime, to commence training.
In Ye Zhongming's view, the assault team was now stepping into an intense phase of specialized drills.
Aside from Wu Qian, nobody understood the reason behind Ye Zhongming's actions. Still, given the Assault Camp's impressive showing earlier, the team members voiced no objections and dove in with full commitment.
Something else caught Ye Zhongming off guard: five soldiers from the Bronze Camp requested to transfer into the Assault Camp.
If this had happened right after the Assault Camp's formation, Ye Zhongming wouldn't have batted an eye, regardless of the numbers. However, the Assault Camp had just harshly embarrassed the Bronze Camp. At such a juncture, it was expected for them to train rigorously to reclaim their honor later, but opting to join the Assault Camp appeared to be a futile endeavor.
On the one side, Bronze Camp comrades could brand them as betrayers. On the flip side, the Assault Camp might view them as fair-weather joiners, arriving only because the grass looked greener.
Ye Zhongming shared these worries. The Assault Camp represented his initial foothold among the cosmic races; it needed to be firm and reliable. He refused to tolerate mere opportunists within its ranks.
Yet, following a thorough probe, Ye Zhongming discovered that things weren't as dire as presumed. These five individuals approached with genuine intent.
Take Ou Chong, for instance: after his defeat against the Assault Camp, he straightaway approached his Thousand-Person Leader with this plea. But the leader refused to release someone whose Furelai had surpassed eight thousand, so he stalled the request. Only when it became impossible to delay further did he forward it to Ye Zhongming.
Though Ou Chong boasted high Furelai, his command of the Star-Eye Clan's techniques was lacking, yet he shone in combat with his courage, direct nature, obedience to commands, and reliability as a follower. Nobody wished to see him depart.
Concluding the inquiry, Ye Zhongming experienced a wave of reassurance. He assigned the recruits to Shi Yong, directing him to monitor them closely and alert him to any issues without delay.

Mizha Haike sat idly, fiddling with his fingers, his thoughts drifting to his prospects ahead.
He lacked any innate knack for fighting. Yet, in the cosmic races' society, fighters commanded the utmost respect. Those unable to rise as warriors faced limited standing.
Mizha Haike harbored a dream too. He yearned to earn a spot in one of the three elite squads through his diligence, rather than watching over this rundown store that might go customerless for ten straight days.
He wished the clan would offload this shop, allowing him a legitimate return to headquarters.
Then, he planned to urge his parents to engage a trainer for lessons in combat arts.
"Not catching any shut-eye today?" A sudden voice rang out right over him. He jerked his head up and spotted a figure in mimetic combat armor, flanked by three companions.
The one on the extreme left disengaged the armor mode. Mizha Haike leaped up.
"Lord Ya Shinan!"
Mizha Haike might not recognize others, but this face was unmistakable. It belonged to Ya Shinan, the Star-Eye Clan's head of logistics, who had picked him from school due to his math prowess and quick wit to oversee the shop.
Now, the remaining trio also deactivated their armor. Mizha Haike froze in shock once more.
He knew each of them, though they were unaware of him.
He had viewed countless recordings from the latest Novice battlefield and knew two visages intimately.
The Star-Eye Clan's pair of Novices: Ye Zhongming and Jie Kui.
The last was Lord Wu Qian, a highly regarded logistics official.
What brought these figures here? And why did that "not sleeping" remark carry such an odd tone?
Ye Zhongming wasn't truly chiding Mizha Haike for dozing off and slacking that day. Consider it: a young life full of vigor, confined to minding a seldom-visited shop in this gloomy, foul lane, managing all needs from meals to waste to rest right there, without relief.
Confronted with such monotonous, unending routine, sustaining zeal for the job proved impossible.
"I came to discuss a matter with you." Ye Zhongming settled into a nearby seat. Ya Shinan casually headed to the cabinet, searched, and pulled out half a crate of booze.
This spot had served as his unwind haven before. Today, he aimed to foster ties with this emerging Bronze Order Leader.
As the top logistics head, Ya Shinan maintained an adaptable stance now. The clan had demonstrated its backing for this Bronze Order Leader through multiple moves, so he aligned accordingly.
Moreover, should this individual truly spark beneficial shifts for the Star-Eye Clan, he'd rejoice even more. More than most, he grasped and sensed the vital role of logistics.
"I intend to refurbish this location, stock up on fresh inventory, and launch some promotions. I'd like your thoughts on continuing to handle it here?"
"Naturally, your pay will go up, possibly tied to sales volume. You'll gain a handful of helpers under your command too."
Ye Zhongming's proposal left Mizha Haike momentarily dazed. He recovered after a beat, stuttering, "You, you mean, to restart it? The clan won't sell?"
Upon confirmation, Mizha Haike first felt a pang of letdown, but soon detected something off.
The letdown stemmed from still being stuck guarding it if unsold, and he was at his limit. But this Bronze Order Leader spoke of reopening? Such assurance? New stock, plus advertising?
Mizha Haike started seeing this as a potential turning point for himself.
"If you'd rather not remain, no issue. We'll hire replacements and provide you compensation for braving the isolation here."
"Should you choose to stay, I'll officially bring you into the Bronze Team. Each cosmic year, you'll get two months of focused training. I, along with fellow Thousand-Person Leaders, will instruct you directly."
"I want to stay!"
Mizha Haike blurted it out before Ye Zhongming wrapped up. Refusing terms like these would be sheer madness.
"Excellent. Soon, clan workers will arrive to revamp the shop. Going forward, a Gold mask warrior, two Silver mask warriors, and five Bronze mask warriors will ensure security for you and the premises. For now, your tasks include sorting the leftover stock, settling the books, then taking some days off to visit family."
"Trust me, business will boom once we launch, keeping you occupied."

That evening, after Ye Zhongming outdrank Ya Shinan and Wu Qian, he rendezvoused with He in Darkstrip City. The following day, representatives from the Changxu Water Race acquired a dwelling in Darkstrip City.
Concurrently, Helsky showed up in Darkstrip City, procuring a residence there as well for his base.
